29May Linux Car @ Indianapolis 500
There has been an initiative to take a Linux sponsored car to Indianapolis 500. I’ve always thought that this was nothing more than a way of allowing a group of friends to have a good time. Well, after all, the Tux 500 initiative managed to get enough sponsors to participate, and still brought some publicity to the Linux world.
Sadly, the Linux car was the first one to crash, putting itself in the poor last place. Not the best advertisement to the Linux world. Still, it is good to know that in the Operative Systems race, Linux is not, at all, the first one crashing!
For the other ones to have more of these great ideas, if you want to help the Linux community, instead of wasting all that money, share the word, install it in a friend’s PC, hack the kernel, and so on. If you do have to much money that you have to wast it, please, contact me, I’ll give you my bank account number, and you can freely deposit there your extras!

Not only it was a waste of money, but it only interrested people from USA. All over the world people talked about Moncao F1 GP. And there were not any Tux even in the last position
