Oh, my litte MP3 of 512MB is a Creative one and works perfectly. I have no intention of buying a 1GB iPod shuffle, even being a Mac (and Apple) fan (I do agree is a bad investment).

Well, on that particular choise I'd say go for the Zen!

But in between the Zen 30GB and the iPod classic 80GB for 249$, I'd probably go for the latter. :)

Now, good good, would be having a refurbished iPod classic 80GB for 199$!

I bought myself a Creative Zen Micro 6GB (refurb) for the price of an iPod Shuffle 1GB. btw, the 4th point "Reliable brand", isn't Creative at least "as reliable" as Apple? I think so.

Well, I guess that the 30gb vs 4gb and the 2.5'' vs the 2'' screen are in great favor of the Zen.
I agree that the ipod has a better user interface, but anyone will be using both with closed eyes after an week.
I'm comparing them, and will probably buy one, but, still, why should I buy an IPod nano, with the Zen, with features comparable to the IPod classic, being sold refurbished by the same price?
