What would it take to build a better mobile phone?

The question is put by the Open Handset Alliance, which is gathering a group of more than 30 technology and mobile companies who have come together to accelerate innovation in mobile and offer consumers a richer, less expensive, and better mobile experience. Some really important names are behind the project, like Google, HTC, LG, NVIDIA, Intel and many, many others!

In order to the do this, they’ve developed Android, the first complete, open, and free mobile platform, that will be released in the second half of 2008.

It appears that all the rumors behind Google’s Phone are now demystified. They’re not creating a mobile phone of their own, as was being said, but hardly working as part of the Open Handset Alliance.

This is definitely a project with the right motivation and sponsors to become something really huge! Will it blend the Iphone?

Apple has done it again! The IPod family has been restructured and the brand new IPod touch, similar to the IPhone but without the phone, has joined the family.

I’ve been wishing to buy one for a long time, I think that the new nano will take my money, probably being a gift for myself this coming Christmas

Rumors about the so mighty to come Google’s Phone are always on the news!

This time, something more specific has came out. Wired is saying that the Google Phone will be Linux powered, have GPS and it will be really cheap, being more close to the $100 OLPC than the $500 IPhone. Really good news, mainly for European clients, where Apple is taking so long to sell their IPhone.

According to the rumors, there was a new apple mobile phone to be released and called iPhone. The rumors have become true, a couple of days ago, Steve Jobs, the apple man, has himself divulged to the attendees at CES, this past Monday, the capacities of this new apple beauty.
The mobile phone is able to browse the web throw wi-fi and the new EDGE technology, receive and send emails, view maps, and a lot more!
