Just for Fun - Linus Biography

These past weeks, I’ve had some free time, so I’ve used it to, among other things, read the autobiography from Linus Torvalds, “Just for Fun”. It was interesting to learn how it all started to my OS of choice!

Unfortunately, the so called “geek part”, where the initial development is described is way too short. Anyway, I think it was a really good reading, which I recommend to anyone who wants to know a bit more about the history behind Linux.

Amazon

Last week, I wasn’t sure if I should buy from Amazon. There were some risks, like the conditions of the book and shipping issues, that could damage the book. Still, I’ve decided to take the chance, and ordered Just For Fun, by Linus Torvalds and David Diamond. The order was placed by May 27, and, today, I’ve already received it.

I was amazed with the quality of the service, the book was cheaper than if it was bought in a local store, it was really fast to arrive and the quality of it was exactly as I was expecting, without any damage.

Amazon has just got a new happy customer.
