This has been a good week for the Portuguese Ubuntu community.
Despite our relatively small size, we’ve managed to put some projects on steroids, and the Portuguese Ubuntu Planet and User Map have appeared.
The ideas came both, I think, from Rui. He asked me to create the map with Google Maps API and, for now, each user is being manually added, but it is all working. The users information is put in our wiki, and the map is available here. The planet gave a little trouble, but Rui has managed to work around a locales problem, and it is already online.
Both of the projects are still very experimental. If anyone out there wants to give us an hand or simply comment something, we’re always open to suggestions, visit us at #ubuntu-pt in the freenode network.

Muitos parabéns a todos os responsáveis por esta iniciativa! O trabalho é muito positivo para a comunidade portuguesa.
Porém, e sendo este blog dedicado a portugueses, penso que há demasiado conteúdo que não se justifica estar em inglês. Não tenho qualquer problema com a lÃngua, mas penso que é um bocado incoerente os ‘posts’ não serem escritos em português, como são os casos de Marco Silva, Tiago Sousa e Tiago Rodrigues, por exemplo. Por outro lado, os ‘quotes’ é preferÃvel que estejam em inglês
Espero que não levem a mal o reparo
